Before
After

This house is located in the area of Scharloo,
which was developed between the 19th and 20th century. The western part
of Scharloo, adjacent to the
Sint Anna Bay, was dominated by wharfes.
The eastern part of Scharloo developed since the second half of the 19th
century into a residential area, and
was almost exclusively inhabited by
wealthy Jewish families. They built homes in a classic style.
In the second half of the 20th, families moved out of Scharloo, leaving
the homes uninhabited and unguarded which resettled in decays.
